From 30 May to7 June, the 22x1m² exhibition at the Hole of Fame will showcase works by artists whose pieces have not yet been presented as part of a professionally curated exhibition. Each of the 22 participating artists will have an area of approximately 1m² at their disposal, on which they can display as many of their works as they wish.
Interested parties were able to apply to take part via an open call in March and April. Almost twice as many applications were received as there was exhibition space available. Following a difficult selection process, the time has now come:
Following the exhibition opening on Friday, 29 May at 7.00 pm, 20x1m² will present works by 22 artists from Dresden, Flensburg, Berlin, Rendsburg and elsewhere – including paintings, drawings and sculptures, both figurative and abstract, on canvas, ceramics or wood.
Anyone wishing to view the exhibition can do so during regular opening hours – every Tuesday from 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm and Saturday from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm – or during one of the numerous other events taking place at the Hole of Fame at the same time.
